At the request of a Russian company IC ECOENERGY has carried out the investigation of raw materials (crushed chalk) and developed two technologies of cold briquetting with roller presses BRM series. The achieved results are patentable and bring energy-saving innovations to technologies for chalk spillage recycling into new products for building and metallurgy.

At the request of a Russian company IC ECOENERGY has developed and manufactured a specialized BRM roller press for briquetting aluminum chips obtained when recycling fine aluminum scrap (cans, wires, clippings etc.) The manufactured roller press has been developed on the basis of universal roller presses BRU series with a glance to laboratory investigation of raw material that has been preliminary carried.
At the end of 2011 IC ECOENERGY modified, manufactured and supplied its customers with presses BRU series for cold briquetting of fine-dispersed coal and charcoal wastes, as well as metal-containing raw material. The press machine productivity is 1-2 t/h and 3-5 t/h. Because of the technical decisions used in the revised construction of the presses, it is possible to promptly switch over from coal briquetting to metal-containing feedstock, perform precise control and smoothly change operation modes. Fail-safe features of the presses have been improved.
IC ECOENERGY has developed a technology for briquetting of manganese concentrate. Relationship between briquette firmness and the amount of binder consumption, compacting pressure, as well as the temperature and time of drying, has been specified. The most optimal material compositions of briquettes for ferroalloy production (ferromanganese and silicomanganese for needs of metallurgical plants) have been chosen.
IC ECOENERGY took part in the second how-to seminar on problems of efficient implementation of renewal energy and green tariff projects, which took place in Sidney conference hall of Hyatt hotel in Kiev on December 17.
The seminar was organized by Fuel Alternative, a consulting company, working on alternative fuel and energy market. The event was opened by Vitaliy Daviy, head of Association of Alternative Fuel and Energy Market

IC ECOENERGY has custom developed a technology for cold coal and charcoal fine waste briquetting. The press equipment’s capacity is 1-2 tph, which allows using the line without extra expenses for capital construction, carbon content of the output briquettes ranging between 92-95% and binder content not exceeding 5-7%.
